Core Services
Proofreading and Editing for Scholarly Writing
I offer proofreading and editing services to review your manuscript, looking at grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, flow, and consistency. This service is appropriate for a range of scholarly writing, including journal articles, dissertation or thesis chapters, complete dissertations or theses, conference papers, conference posters, or other original scholarly research. ESL Editing
I offer specialized proofreading and editing services to help researchers who are not native English speakers, but are producing scholarly works in English. This service is appropriate for journal articles, dissertation or thesis chapters, complete dissertations or theses, conference papers, or other original scholarly research by authors who are non-native English speakers. Thesis and Dissertation Editing
I offer proofreading and editing services to review your thesis or dissertation, looking at grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, flow, and consistency. I can review individual chapters or complete works. I can also review your results reporting to ensure appropriate reporting of statistical analysis, and help make structural edits to your manuscript. Academic Language Editing
I offer academic language editing to help you to review the clarity, tone, and flow of your writing. This service is particularly helpful for those who have produced their first draft, but are struggling to put the information in the right order or to write in the tone they desire. Journal Article Preparation
This service is designed for scholarly work that is intended to be submitted to a journal for publication and is intended to serve as a "final check." It includes proofreading and editing as well as a check for compliance with journal submission expectations, including reference style and formatting. Formatting and Reference Style Assistance
This service is aimed at helping those who have already completed a piece of scholarly work but need to transform their work to conform to a new format or reference style. For example, this service can help you convert your paper into a poster or transform your citations from one style into another. Research Design and Planning Services
I offer a variety of research design consultation services, including assistance in drafting research questions, planning statistical analysis, selecting appropriate analysis software, and guidance on appropriate and accurate reporting of statistics. Services for Creative Works
I offer a variety of proofreading and editing services for creative works, including short stories, novellas, and longer works. If you want to work together on a creative project, please fill out my Editing/Proofreading Project Inquiry Form, noting the project type as creative, and give me as much information about your project as possible. Other Assistance
In addition to the services listed above, I have experience creating posters for conference presentations, developing slides for research presentations, and more. Pricing Information
Rates vary based on the type of project, type and extent of editing required, and turnaround time. Bulk discounts are available for clients with several connected projects or ongoing projects. Rush deadlines are also available for a fee.
I will always provide a free quote and timeline estimate for your project. To get a quote and timeline estimate, please fill out the appropriate Project Inquiry form for your project on the Inquiries page. Please note, I cannot provide a quote without your project information. After I receive your inquiry, I will reach out to you as soon as possible for a copy of your manuscript to finalize your quote.
