About Me
My name is Elena, and I am passionate about good research and effective writing.
I previously worked at the Applied Research Lab at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a research assistant, where I consulted with graduate students, faculty, and university staff to advise on research design and statistical analysis for original research projects. I helped researchers across the university to draft effective research questions, plan statistical analysis, analyze their data, and interpret and report their results. I reviewed theses and dissertations, providing proofreading and editing as well as ensuring appropriate reporting and interpretation of analyses. I worked with students and faculty from departments across the university, including anthropology, criminal justice, clinical psychology, education, and more.
I have also worked on and presented my own research, presenting at numerous conferences around the country and winning multiple awards for my presentations from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology.
I started EF Research & Consulting so I could continue to do the work that I love while connecting with researchers from other institutions. My favorite part of this job is helping researchers create the best version of their work and seeing them become as confident as possible in what they have accomplished.
I hope to work with you soon!
