I work with graduate students, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, or any other researchers who need help with their original scholarly research. This includes non-native English speakers who are working to polish their scholarly works written in English.

I offer proofreading and editing services, academic language editing (for clarity, flow, and tone), ESL editing, journal article reviews, thesis and dissertation editing (including individual chapters or complete works), formatting help and help complying to specific reference styles (such as APA, Chicago, MLA, or journal-specific styles), and other assistance as needed.

Yes! My primary focus is on editing and proofreading scholarly writing. However, I also love working on other types of manuscripts, helping researchers develop research poster formats or presentations, consulting on research design or statistical analysis planning, and more. After we sign our contract, I will send you an invoice through PayPal. For most projects, a deposit is due at the time of signing, and the remainder is due within 48 hours of final delivery. A deposit is required to start work.

For some projects, including projects with researchers outside of the Pittsburgh area, complete payment may be due up front.
